Bill Quay Cricket Club has hosted a festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend since 2014. The festivals have always had a strong community focus showcasing local musicians and small businesses. This year we want to build on this by offering fun and entertainment for the whole family across the weekend.
We’ve got a fantastic line up of bands across the weekend right through from early Friday evening until the festival closes on Sunday night. There’ll be acoustic sets for a more relaxed atmosphere in the afternoons and in the evenings the bands are bound to get you dancing.
We wont be forgetting the younger ones either. There’ll be lots to keep them occupied, all included in the ticket price. There’ll also be some stalls where you’ll be able to buy bespoke products made by some of our local businesses.
As for food and drink there’ll be something for everyone. The main bar in the marquee will offer the choice of lager, ale and craft beer as well as spirits, prosecco and wine. When you’re hungry you’ll be able to chose from a range of tasty dishes from our catering partners.
